Senior Communications Manager, Marine
The Senior Communications Manager, Marine (1-year term), is a senior-level communications professional with specialized experience in communicating marine issues, including science, governance, and balancing biodiversity, climate and economic interests. As a member of the Communications Team, the Senior Communications Manager will provide strategic direction as well as the tools, support, and direct action to engage targeted audiences to advance marine solutions, with a particular focus on the Great Bear Sea initiative, which is Indigenous-led and will result in the world’s first Indigenous-led marine-protected-area network co-managed by multiple levels of government that integrates ecosystem and cultural values while balancing the economic vitality of coastal communities.
