Marine Stewardship Lessons – Educators (EOI)

The Secretariat of the Haida Nation is seeking expressions of interest from Educators to deliver marine stewardship lessons to grade 4 classrooms. The Educator will deliver a set of three lessons on Abalone stewardship in 2-3 elementary schools, coordinate with teachers and lesson guests, and organize classroom materials. Lesson plans and materials will be provided. The contract will be for a maximum of 60 hours, with lessons to be delivered between late February and March 2024. Please send your expressions of interest including your expected hourly rate. Preference will be given to persons of Haida ancestry, with previous experience in marine stewardship.
