Manager, Natural Resources

Working as an integral part of the Ta na wa Yúus ta Stitúyntsam̓ Rights and Title Department, reporting to the Director, Rights and Title, the Natural Resources Manager will play a key role within the Rights and Title Department to assess referrals, proposed initiatives, and management strategies related to natural resources in Squamish’s Territory – in particular related to fisheries and forestry. The Natural Resources Manager will also be responsible for overseeing internal management and policies related to fishing carried out by Squamish Nation membership. The Natural Resources Manager will be responsible for Fisheries, but will also work closely with other staff also responsible for forestry-related files to formulate plans, policies, and objectives for the Rights and Title Department. Salary: $78,128 - $89,436 annually, plus a comprehensive benefit program.
