Guardian Watchmen Manager
The Guardian Manager shall coordinate and administer the Nation’s Guardian Watchmen Program. The Guardian Manager shall execute Council strategic plans and priorities and administer the daily operations within the program. The Guardian Manager will develop collaborative working relationships with other agencies such as, Nations in the shared territory, Nanwakolas, A’Tlegay Fisheries, Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Aquaculture organizations, Forestry companies, Provincial, Federal and Local Government delegates and various funding agencies. This individual will engage with administrative staff as well as Wei Wai Kum members and community members, and will be a representative of Wei Wai Kum Guardian initiatives within the Territory. This person will serve as a guide and mentor for multiple Guardian staff who will train and become experts in the ancestral rights and responsibilities, they have to take care of their lands, waters, wildlife and food sources for future generation
