Finance Officer
The Position: The ideal candidate for the Finance Officer role must have US non-profit experience and be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the general ledger accounts, assisting with month-end close, posting journal entries and assisting with other ad hoc projects. They will report to the Director, Finance. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. Three or more years of US non-profit accounting experience. Demonstrated experience using Sage Intacct Cloud accounting software, including the ability to generate tailored reports Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles as they relate to nonprofits. Highly proficient with various accounting software and spreadsheet software programs. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred: Experience in grant and/or project accounting Experience in multi currency or multi-country reporting
