PM03/04: While conducting regular cultural resource monitoring, you act as the eyes and ears on the ground as a technician and a steward of the park reserve. On any given day you may visit an historic homestead site with a 100-year-old apple orchard or monitor archaeological sites for signs of erosion. During the monitoring of these places, you take photographs and collect information to document any changes or impacts to the cultural features. In the process, you work closely with Indigenous cultural experts, archaeologists, other park staff.
