Communications Engagement Officer
COAST is driving innovation in Pacific Canada’s Blue Economy by: Helping industry find commercial solutions to key challenges facing the ocean sector Supporting start-ups and new ventures Engaging Indigenous leadership in the Blue Economy; and Attracting talent, capital and partnerships to grow businesses in British Columbia. COAST is seeking a communications / engagement professional to: Craft the message for COAST in all external communications Coordinate regular in-person events including COAST Mixers and the COAST conference (still to be developed) Update social media posts, prepare and distribute news releases, compile monthly newsletters and create and implement advertising strategies Prepare, moderate and promote COAST Talks (Virtual Speaker Series and Podcasts) Engage with COAST members on a regular basis Highlight the COAST offering to member companies Plan member benefits to encourage attraction and retention of individual, SME and Industry members
