Report release: Detecting and Monitoring Marine Megafauna from Space: Exploring Opportunities in the Northeast Pacific
The Ocean Decade Collaborative Center for the Northeast Pacific (DCC-NEP) and our Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) colleagues have completed a report from the Webinar and Workshop on Detecting and Monitoring Marine Megafauna from Space: Exploring Opportunities in the Northeast Pacific. This report details key findings from the Ocean Decade endorsed knowledge-sharing event ton November 2 and 3, 2022, and will hopefully be a useful reference for advancing future collaborations to detect and monitor megafauna in the Northeast Pacific region using space-based data and advanced analysis methods.
