Ocean Decade launches fourth Call for Decade Actions
The scope of the fourth Call for Decade Actions is for Decade Programmes that can contribute to Challenge 6—Coastal Resilience, with a focus on green and grey resilience and multi-hazard early warning systems, and Challenge 8—Digital Representation of the Ocean, with a focus on critical datasets, interoperable digital infrastructure, capacity development and applications, tools and services to meet the Ocean Decade Challenges.
Twenty-five endorsed Decade Programmes will also solicit Projects.
Building on the impact of the Ocean Decade since its launch in January 2021, the call aims to continue addressing thematic and regional gaps and to encourage transformative science to achieve the outcomes identified for the next ten years. The Call for Decade Actions is an open invitation for partners from around the world to request endorsement for transformative Decade Actions that contribute to the Ocean Decade vision.
