Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference is a UN Ocean Decade activity!

We’re excited to announce that the 2022 Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference (SSEC), taking place virtually on April 26-28, has been endorsed as a UN Ocean Decade activity, in recognition of the conference’s role in supporting co-design, co-production, and communication of knowledge to guide solutions to the challenges facing the Salish Sea. Aligned with the mission of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, the SSEC provides a platform for improved scientific collaboration, data sharing, and interdisciplinary and transboundary dialogues to support knowledge-based collective action.
