unnamed.jpg

The workshop aims to present a wide range of experiences and localized safeguard and adaptation strategies for coastal zones. Starting from the experiences in the Emilia-Romagna region, the workshop will present cases from around the world and interventions to promote coastal resilience policies.

The workshop represents an important opportunity to reflect on coastal climate change adaptation strategies at the local level. Through the presentation of outstanding projects and initiatives, the event offers the opportunity to explore some internationally recognized regional excellence, with particular emphasis on the remarkable distinction achieved by the Emilia-Romagna region in the field of coastal protection.

Furthermore, the workshop promotes a meaningful global exchange of experiences, involving leading experts and representatives of international projects who will share challenges, solutions and results, contributing to an international dialogue without borders. Indeed, coastal resilience experts from Shanghai in China to the Netherlands, the Caribbean, Nigeria and India will participate.
