Marine Manager
The Wuikinuxv Nation Stewardship Office is looking for a Marine Manager to support the stewardship of marine ecosystems and resources in the Wuikinuxv Nation Territory. The Marine Manager will work on a variety of projects that will support implementation of the Wuikinuxv Marine Use Plan and various government-to-government agreements including the Oceans Reconciliation Framework Agreement (O-RFA); Marine Protected Area (MPA) network planning and implementation; and, technical implementation, and review processes for the Marine Planning Partnership (MaPP). Work will include: involvement in marine management planning processes, policy development, community engagement, project management and coordinating or supporting research and monitoring activities within Wuikinuxv Nation Territory. The ideal candidate will be a leader with a strong interest and experience working in community-based management of marine ecosystems and resources.
